Review for the California Homeopath Journal, January 2026 Issue by Kathleen Scheible

In Living in Synchrony, Amy Lansky makes a compelling case for discovering and embracing our uniquely human capabilities as we navigate a new era marked by artificial intelligence and unprecedented change. Drawing on her own lived experience in health and healing as well as a comprehensive, succinct map of the human-energy continuum from spiritual traditions and quantum physics, Amy’s mission is bold as it is pragmatic. Her mission is to educate us so we can live better, healthier, more connected (to one another) lives, and to evolve. Amy grounds her insights in research, drawing on her background as a homeopathy and consciousness author, with a PhD in computer science.

The gateway to healing is often our consciousness, even as it can be our biggest limitation. Finding more avenues for realizing our true nature and thriving is the focus of this book, from an experienced consciousness researcher, author, and practitioner. Amy once again, as in Active Consciousness, gives us practical tools for working with and healing our subconscious, and our energy bodies, so we can realize more of our potential, and come back into community.

In our time of monumental change and upheaval, there is tremendous opportunity for evolution. Still, the rate of change and degree of chaos and uncertainty is disorienting, and most people I know are suffering, grieving and looking for meaning. This raises the essential question: How do we live our daily lives amid such turmoil? Of course, having a spiritual practice helps. While Living in Synchrony is not religious, Amy Lansky has given us an energetic and spiritual framework for a thriving humanity.

Amy defines Synchrony as the interaction of our vital force with the surrounding field of vibration—'like a fish swimming in an ocean of vibration...with ease'—where we both contribute to and are one with this vibrational ocean.

She guides us in how we can shift our personal vibrational state upwards, which requires being in alignment to a certain extent, with our immediate environment.

Flexibility and flow are given as prerequisites and keys to healing and growth. Knowing those things are possible is foundational, and she asserts the many sources of conditioning that keep us stuck, and not expecting we have the capacity to get unstuck.

We are oriented to the energy bodies early in the book, and the indications for which of them may be stuck or blocked, and therefore need healing. They are the physical, etheric, astral, mental and causal, as well as the central channel.

I found this table helpful in defining the milieu associated with the different energy bodies:

Energy medicines like homeopathy heal on the level of the vital force, which is equivalent to the etheric body, according to Amy. She outlines the various healing modalities she knows of which can help us to heal, at any level and to which corresponding energy body, including the physical body with allopathic medicine. But also, the modalities that work with our true nature as psychic, quantum, spiritual, vibrational, meaningful, willful, relational, manifesting and fundamentally creative beings. As a homeopath, I appreciate her overview of the nature and benefits of homeopathic medicine, in the context of other similar etheric-body medicines like Traditional Chinese Medicine, sound therapy, and others. I also appreciate the abbreviated synopsis of the fraught history of antagonism from the conventional medical world and pharmaceutical industry, leading to the current conundrum with the FDA.

I especially appreciate Amy’s penchant for giving personal examples of her own stuckness, her own experiences with healing, her current favorite practices, and providing us with experiential exercises for reclaiming our abilities and agency.

Living in Synchrony is essential reading for anyone interested in a more natural, energetic approach to health. Amy invites us to live differently by taking responsibility for our wellbeing and embracing the incredible power that comes with recognizing ourselves as the extraordinary beings we truly are.
